Susan Boyle Rulez!!!

Monday, April 20, 2009

The world was stunned when Susan Boyle sang “I Dream a Dream”…… Before she sang, both the audience and the judges appeared to express skepticism based on her unpolished appearance and awkwardness. In contrast, her vocal performance was so well received that she has been dubbed "The Woman Who Shut Up Simon Cowell". She received a standing ovation from the live audience, garnering yes-votes from all judges.

The juxtaposition of the reception to her voice with the audience's first impression of her triggered global interest. Articles about her appeared in newspapers all over the world, while online videos views of her performance set many record like YouTube, receiving almost 34million viewers in one particular clip. Furthermore, Simon Cowell is reported to be setting up a contract with Boyle with his Syco Music company label, a subsidiary of Sony Music.

What amazing she is, it’s like a Cinderella story, rag to riches….unbelievable… hope she’ll win the Britain’s Got Talent and sing in front of the Queen Elizabeth.

Here some of the amazing and emotional clips...

Is it so wrong for Michelle Obama to give a hug to the Queen?

Friday, April 3, 2009

As everyone know that G20 summit is held in London, and all media, people and the world are focusing on the agenda of this G20. The unthinkable has happened and everyone is talking about it….so what is the fuzz that happened?....

It wasn’t President Barack Obama talking to Prime Minister Gordon Brown about how to bail out the world’s economies. Not the nuclear discussions with those tricky Russians either. Nor even what the Axis of Evil might get up to in London.

It was just a simple touch = hug to the Queen…..

Michelle Obama's meeting with Queen Elizabeth II began with a handshake and ended in a hug that had the British press buzzing…..

So is it for wrong to hug the Queen? Common, be reasonable…Mrs. Obama was being friendly and nice to her….

Maybe couples of incidents that get media talking and among them are:
- Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating was dubbed the "Lizard of Oz" by British tabloids when, in 1992, he was photographed with his arm resting on the queen’s back. Simply not done, old chap.

- President George W. Bush got a withering look in 2007 when he gave her a cheeky wink. He’s lucky she didn’t poke him in the eye.

Mrs. Obama clearly made an impression with the 82-year-old monarch — so much that the smiling queen strayed slightly from protocol and briefly wrapped her arm around the first lady in a rare public show of affection….

So…..you be the judge....

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was sworn in as Malaysia’s sixth prime minister today (Friday), taking over from Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who stepped down after leading the country for over five years.

First of all, congratulate to our new PM and we (the Malaysian people)

And secondly, hope PM can unite us into one and peace to all in the near future. Can’t wait for his “One Malaysia” speech today…

Lastly, hope PM can guide Malaysia during this economic crisis and steer us into the right direction.

Cheers to all…

At this current Economic Situation..............

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

I would like to give some advices to some potential investors……if you have some cash in hand, some may think that it is a good time to save for the economic crisis… ya, I agreed. But, by keeping the money in hand, you may not get the true value of your money…..you may know that currently banks don’t provide a good FD rate, why not looking into the stock market???

The world economy is a volatile place right now. Even with the recent gains, the stock market is down substantially over the last few months and it is down almost 40% on the year (US market) and 30% (Malaysia Market). While that is cause for concern for those at or near retirement age, it might actually present a buying opportunity for those who have a longer investment horizon.

Why might this be a buying opportunity? Because it is always better to buy low and sell high. If you’re in it for the long run, you have a long time for your shares to gain value. Right now with stocks low across the board, you may be buying shares that will substantially increase in value over time.

So think about it………………
